Zeus's Shiney Silver Volvo
About the Silver Labrador:
This is a great site to find information on the silver lab. They are a rare, gorgeous color of Labrador Retrievers. They are considered a chocolate lab by the AKC and are shown as so, but it's only time until they are recognized as their own color of lab. Silver labs are basically like the lilac version of a chocolate rabbit.
I am just getting into them. I grew up with black labs my whole life. I recently got my first Chocolate silver factored lab pup, Zeus. AKC registered Zeus's Shiney Silver Volvo born 4/11/09 out of Viper (Silver) and Miss Kitty (Black). He is gorgeous! I would like to eventually breed these beautiful dogs. I plan on getting a silver female in about a year and then breeding in about 3 years. So nothing soon, but I will have Zeus as a stud for anyone who would like to breed to get Silver Factored pups. Just like rabbits, a silver factored dog can be bred to another silver factored and get pure silvers.
So for now, this is my page for my pup Zeus. I will update it as he matures and grows. Currently he is 3 months old. I will start showing him at local AKC shows when he is a bit older. I used to show Parson Russell Terriers and I am excited to get back into showing!
